Meet our Rehabilitation-Certified Staff
Dr. Chris Dupuis, DVM, CCRP
Dr. Dupuis attended the University of Illinois for undergraduate studies, and the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine. Currently, he is the President of the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine Alumni Association. Dr. Dupuis received his CCRP degree from the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine in 2018, making him one of the only certified canine rehabilitation veterinarians in the Chicagoland area.
His professional interests include anything involving cats and physical rehabilitation of dogs.
Stephanie Bloom-Cotto, CVT, CCRP
Stephanie graduated from the Vet Tech Institute in Pittsburgh, PA in 2008. She developed an interest in neurology and rehabilitation when her corgi had to have back surgery (hemilaminectomy) in 2013. She then spent a year working in the neurology department at Pittsburgh Veterinary Specialty & Emergency Center (PVSEC) in Pittsburgh where she got to perform physical rehab on patients.
Stephanie moved to Illinois in 2015 and has been part of the Wheatland family ever since. In 2019, she was rehab certified through the University of Tennessee and is now beginning the Canine Manual Therapy Certification Course through the University of Tennessee.
Our Story
Wheatland Animal Hospital of Naperville has continued to make advances in veterinary standards to ensure its animals are taken care of. Rehabilitation therapy has been a part of WAH since 2018. Since then, Dr. Chris Dupuis and Stephanie Cotto have continued their accreditation's. We have had many successes throughout the years. We specialize in a variety of services not offered by most veterinarians, such as stem cell therapy, underwater hydrotherapy and laser therapy.
