Our Story

At Wheatland Animal Hospital of Naperville, advancing veterinary medicine has always been at the heart of what we do. As our hospital continued to grow, so did our commitment to helping pets not only live longer, but live better.
In 2018, we proudly expanded our services to include a dedicated Rehabilitation Therapy program. What began as an exciting addition has grown into a highly specialized department focused on restoring mobility, reducing pain, and improving quality of life for pets at every stage.
Under the leadership of Dr. Chris Dupuis and Stephanie Cotto, our rehabilitation team is committed to ongoing education and advanced training to remain at the forefront of veterinary rehabilitation medicine. Dr. Dupuis earned his DVM from the University of Illinois and completed his certification in animal rehabilitation therapy through the University of Tennessee, becoming a Certified Canine Rehabilitation Practitioner (CCRP). Stephanie is a Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) through the Vet Tech Institute in Pittsburgh and also earned her CCRP through the University of Tennessee. Together, their passion and expertise allow us to provide progressive, evidence-based rehabilitation plans tailored to each individual patient, ensuring the highest level of compassionate, hands-on care.
Today, Wheatland Pet Rehabilitation offers services not commonly found in general veterinary practice, including:
-
Hydrotherapy
-
Therapeutic laser therapy
-
Stem cell therapy
-
Customized post-operative recovery programs
and more!
Every pet’s journey is unique. Whether recovering from surgery, managing arthritis, or healing from injury, our team partners closely with families to create personalized treatment plans that support long-term comfort and function.
We are proud of the countless success stories that have come through our doors - pets who come to us struggling, and left walking stronger, happier, and more like themselves again. We invite you to explore our testimonials page to see how rehabilitation has helped our patients regain strength, confidence, and joy.
At Wheatland, rehabilitation is more than therapy. It’s a path back to the activities your pet loves most.
